Three people were killed and two others were wounded after a boat was overturned near Statin Island.

Emergency services scrambled to the scene after a distress call from the ship, where five people were reported in the cold water of Ambrose.
Then FDNY, NYPD and Coast Guard removed many people from water and rushed them to a nearby hospital, according to ABC 7.
Five people from the boat were rescued and rushed to the hospital.
Two air were transferred to Statin Island University Hospital, three others were transferred to the Coast Guard station in Sandy Hook, New Jersey
At least three people have been confirmed that they died.
Someone is in critical condition and another in a stable condition, according to the port.
The agencies were still searching on Sunday evening for anyone who might still be in water.
Officials are said to be looking for a sixth person, according to NBC 4 NEWCORK reports.
FDny said that one person is still missing, however, NYPD was unable to confirm, according to NBC.
The fire and the police are now investigating the accident, along with the American Coast Guard.
Police officers did not issue a boat name or details about what might happen before the pounce.
A New York police spokesman said that one of the craft passengers contacted the number 911 in the back and told the police that the ship had turned in one way or another on the Ambrose channel.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been launched.
Ambrose is the only shipping channel abroad, New York and New Jersey, according to the American Army Engineers Corps in New York.
