Asensio is not the only player to flourish since his move to Aston Villa, where Rashford appears to put behind a difficult season in Manchester United with a strong start of life in Midlands.
Rashford was fighting for the shape in Old Trafford and found himself outside the picture under Robin Amorim.
But it seems that moving to Villa and playing alongside Asensio brings back to his best.
Since his first appearance on February 9, Rashford has created more opportunities in all competitions than any other in the Premier League (13).
Against Cardiff, Rashford created six opportunities for Aston Villa, equivalent to more than ever in any of his 426 matches for Manchester United (six versus Wigan in January 2024).
It has not yet been recorded, although he looks at his performance so far will definitely come sooner and not later.

“We need the players who have joined the last window. We need the players to return from injury. Each player will be necessary for matches in the coming weeks and months.
“Now we focus on the Champions League. We are there and we have to enjoy it and compete.”
