A hot point for European holidays has been destroyed by amazing floods – as authorities warn people against staying in their homes.

The heavy rains Gran Canaria, Spain, caused floods across the islands on Monday.
The famous holiday site has clashed to the rising water levels that took place cars under the bridges and through the streets.
A terrifying video showed one car washed off at sea on Playa Salinetas Beach.
Flash flood left a blanket of clay and dirt that covers roads and sidewalks through the Gran Canaria.

Several cars were also dragged into the comfort of Las Bachelraras on the island.
Officials issued a “before the foundation” warning through the Canary Islands on Saturday.
This came when the heavy rains hit the archipelago throughout the weekend.
The National Weather Agency in Spain, AEMET, issued a red alert via Gran Canaria on Monday.
A higher alert level has also been released to all Canary Islands, including Tenerife.
This is scheduled to continue the dangerous rain per week.
The areas that are expected to be worse than these floods are La Palma, Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
Some areas can also be hit with thunderstorms.
Officials advised tourists and residents to avoid any unnecessary travel and stay on alert in areas exposed to floods.
Nevertheless, the local residents and authorities have tried to start cleaning the destroyed streets with brushes and scrubs.
This comes just months after the destroyed floods that killed more than 200 people in southern Spain.
The areas surrounding the main cities such as Valencia and Maribia were merged due to the horrific floods in October.
Valencia, on the eastern coast, was one of the areas that were struck in the floods where cities such as Turis and Utiel recorded up to 200 meters of rain.
More than 1,000 soldiers have been deployed in the most affected areas to help rescue efforts.
At that time, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said: “Our thoughts come out to those whose homes and property were destroyed and whose lives were covered with mud.
“We are united and we will rebuild your streets, arenas and bridges. Spain will be with you.”
