The coach of the South African team, Rassi Erasmos, says he will benefit from the new knowledge of Felix Jones about England and their competitors in the northern half, but he denied the Irish short -term work period in Tokkenham as part of any deliberate trick.
Jones won the Rugby World Cup in the South African Group before joining England as a defense coach in January 2024.
However, he resigned just seven months after his return to South African employees last week.
“I don't want people to think that it was absolutely a plan to bring him there and return again,” Erasmus said.
“We were hoping that it would succeed and I could not comment on why it did not succeed in England. But it is great, because we never wanted to lose it.”
Jones had previously had a shortcut with South Africa, focusing on basic skills and skills, but Erasmus says that 37 -year -old is focusing on defense in a different environment that will make him a greater advantage for Springox.
“It is clear that Felix will learn a lot and I would like to share with us some of these things with us,” he added.
“We believe that there are small things that we have lost where we can do what is better and Felix will play a very vital role in it. There is no single coach who has not sent me a list of things he wants to participate in Felix in his section.”
England is not on the match in South Africa for the year 2025, as it plays the SpringBoks team instead of the role of France, Italy, Ireland and Wales in their autumn tour in the northern hemisphere.
“We are not playing England, but we will rise in the future, and it will train against the other six nations teams,” Erasmus added.
“We know exactly what his role will be with us, and if we do our hard work first, these small small edges that Felix will bring us.”
England Joe Al -Abd worked as a defensive coach in the wake of Jones's departure and conveyed their tactics, focusing on coordination on the speed of the infection line.
