Jill Biden’s DNC dress is slammed as ‘duct tape’ – but supporters say it’s a subtle attempt to win over Taylor Swift

THE sparkly dress of first lady Jill Biden was the subject of intense debate on the first night of the DNC.

Biden was introduced in the middle of the convention where she praised the presumptive Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.

In honor of the occasion, the First Lady donned a blue glittery dress which sparked a massive social media debate.

“Jill Biden is wearing a duck tape dress,” one user posted on X.

Other users seemed to think the dress was a silent plea to pop superstar Taylor Swift to publically endorse Harris.

“My colleague Ivica has a theory that Jill Biden is trying to appeal to Swifties with this dress,” one user stated.
