Lizzo recently shared an impressive story about her battle with depression during a concert at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles. The singer opened her mental health journey, and revealed that she had fallen into “deep dark depression” after facing allegations of harassment and a toxic work environment with previous backup dancers in August 2023.
Although she denied all the claims, she confessed to the deep influence that they had on her mental well -being.
“I call it because about a year and a half ago – it's really difficult to share – I was in such a deep dark depression,”
I told the audience.
“I felt very sad from the world and was so severe that I did not want to continue, and I was terrifying people, to the point that I did not want to see it. But in the end, I managed to overcome this fear.”
