The Scottish husband from Hugh Neplo and Charlot Makina arrived in the final of Sunday in the double spousal championship on a chair at home at home, with a dramatic victory over South Korea.
The 6-5 victory in Steveston will secure the Great Britain in this event at the winter Olympics next year in Milan Cortina, where it will appear for the first time.
Britain has already qualified for the team's event, thanks to Scotland's offers over the past three years.
NIBLOE, which represented GB in 2022 games in Beijing, and Makina went to the championship knowing that they need to reach the medal matches to collect enough rehabilitation points to earn one of the seven qualified places.
They ranked second in their gathering before sending CZECIA 10-4 in the quarter-finals their arrival from 4-1 to the bottom against the Koreans, who were not defeated in the group stages, to score two at the last end.
GB will face Japan in the gold medal match on Sunday.
“I think he was in the back of our minds throughout the week that the qualification for the disabled was primarily what we were here to do, but we did not think at any time that we had to make the final to ensure this rehabilitation, and therefore the weight that came out of our shoulders is now huge.”
