After a difficult start to the 2024 MotoGP season, Michael Ruben Rinaldi has spoken about his possible plans for 2025.

Between the two MotoGP World Championship rounds in the Czech Republic and Portugal, Michael Ruben Rinaldi spoke about his quest to get his bike ready for next season.

After racing with the Factory Ducati team in 2023 and then Motocorsa Ducati in 2024, it seems that Rinaldi may not compete in the 2025 WorldSBK season. The Italian rider made his plans and thoughts on his situation clear to everyone:

“I want to continue in the MotoGP World Championship and this year, I understand more than anything that I want to fight for the top positions in the standings,” Rinaldi began. “When you fight just to get into the top ten, it’s difficult to stay there and keep fighting. I need to find solutions for this year by working with the team and being the best version of myself. After that, I start working for the future, but for me, I want to find the best solution on the technical side to be at the top next year.”

With the 2025 MotoGP World Championship already full, Rinaldi knows there are more riders next season than there are places available. There have been rumours about Rinaldi, but it seems clear that his future is not with Ducati.

“There are many rumours, my manager is talking to many people, one of them was Manuel Pochettino. However, it depends on many things because next year there will only be two or three teams left and many competitors are looking for an opportunity. Sometimes there is more than just getting results. We will see what happens; we are talking to some people at the moment.”
