Hampsheer has formulated in New Zealand Brett Hampton during the first two months of the boycott championship season after Jack Edwards was excluded for all rounds due to injury.
Australia Edwards was signed as one of the province's players abroad, but he suffered a knee injury in New South Wales in Sheffield shield and faces a recovery period of at least six weeks.
It will be replaced by 33 -year -old Hampton, a right -wing and medium -speed tailor that has played the first -class cricket game for the northern regions over the past decade.
In Plunket SHIELD for this season, Hampton 581 scored and took 23 share, with an average average of first -class at 30.66 and 27.70, respectively with Bat and Ball.
“I am enthusiastic about coming and playing in the boycott,” Hampton told Hampsheer website.and external.
“The team had a great campaign last year, so I hope I can help the club press the title. I look forward to joining the rest of the team in a few days.”
Hampshere, who was in the first division last season, begins his new campaign for red in the home of Yorkshire on Friday.
