KneeCAP said they “will not remain silent” because they went out in the “coordinated anointing campaign” against them to show “Free Palestine” in Kochilla.

The Belfast Band, which consists of MO Chara, Móglaí BAP and DJ Próvaí, ended its collection at the second weekend of the Kochilla Music Festival in California on April 18 with three messages on a large screen that Israel accused of genocide and military crimes against the Palestinian people.

The messages say: “Israel commits genocide against the Palestinian people,” “it is enabled by the United States government that arms and financing Israel despite their war crimes” and “P *** Israel Free Palestine.”

While many of their fans applauded the statement, some criticized the band – including Sharon Osborne. After their group, the band manager on RTE radio confirmed that the band had received death threats and added the nature of the “very severe” threats that must be shared on the air.

When moving to their Instagram page on Friday, Kneecap issued a statement on their group in Coachella, the masses told: “Since our statements in Coachella – the continuous genocide against the Palestinian people – revealed we faced a coordinated campaign.

“The recent attacks against us, which are largely emitted by the United States, are based on deliberate distortions and concerns. We are taking measures against many of these malicious efforts. Let's be completely clear.

KneeCAP continued: “The reason for targeting KneeCAP is simple – we say the truth, and our audience grows. Those who attack us want to silence the mass massacre. They are armed with the wrong accusations of anti -Semitism to pay attention, and provide cover for genocide.

“We do not give AF ** K what anyone practiced. We know that there are huge numbers of angry Jews from this genocide just as we are. What we care about is that the governments of the countries that we perform enable some of the most horrific crimes in our lives – and we will not remain silent.

“This media will not change this. Our only concern is the Palestinian people. The 20,000 children are dependent and depend on. Young people see them in the vehicles through the lie. They stand by humanity and justice. This gives us great hope.”

During an interview with RTE Radio, the band's director, Daniel Lambert, praised them for building a profession for themselves “on the basis of the Irish language, music, culture and identity.”

He added: “They have courage and condemnation-especially in view of the place they came from in a post-struggle society-to defend what is right, and they are ready to do this despite the fact that it may harm their career, despite the fact that it may harm their income, and it must be praised for that.

“It is a very strong position for young people to take it, especially young people from the background of the working class.” He was asked if there was a danger to everyone painting in Israel with the same brush.

Daniel said: “Certainly not. I think that when it refers to” Israel “in the correspondence, as we did, you refer to the Israeli government,” Daniel said.

He went on to say that the proposal of the message of rapper in Kochilla was offensive would be “purchase to the moral hysteria” and added that the real issue was tens of thousands of people who were killed by the Israeli forces in Gaza.
