Teenaged Locke Litler invented more history by becoming the first player to win five nights in the Premier League season by defeating Michael Van Gereen in Birmingham.
The 18 -year -old, the youngest world arrow champion after his success in January, also won his place in the match at the end of the season in O2 Arena on May 29.
He won four nights in the opening eight weeks, but failed to reach the final in the past four weeks.
No player has won more than four nights since the 16 -week league phase was introduced with Johnny Clayton (2022), Jeroen Price, Michael Smith (2023), Leitler, Luke Humphrez and Van Gerwin (2024) who achieved that sign.
Littler spoke at the beginning of the evening about the desire to finish the top of the league in order to secure the first semi -finals in the playing matches, so that he has a semi -final break, and he is now on the right track to achieve this.
He needed to win in the last leg over Stephen Poning and Nathan Espinal to reach the final match, but he improved with the continuation of the evening.
The second world was absent from two arrows in TOPS at the opening station, which allowed seven times in the Premier League Van Gerawnein separation, before missing Double 16 in the second leg after two amazing bets in Bullseye.
Litler continued with Van Girwin, who was in his second final of the year, despite his recovery in the sixth leg, before collapsing again in the leg 10 to ensure victory and avoid the final registry decision.
Its average was 102.5 to Van Gerwen's 94.31 and was six years old for the exit.
“I am very happy,” Litler told Sky Sports.
“I am clear nine points, so I am very happy and very confident I will stay first.”
“It is something that I have always believed in my head,” he added. “The first semi -finals played it is very important because there is no this shift,” Litler added.
