Below Deck Mediterranean star Elena Dubaich has regrets about how she handled things with Bri Muller this season.

The Season 9 second stew video-called into Monday night’s (Aug. 5) episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she apologized for being the “villain” in Muller’s story.

“I’ve had a lot of time to reflect on my actions and whatnot and I’m actually glad I’ve had this opportunity to see myself through somebody else’s eyes,” she began. “In our daily lives, sometimes we are assholes to other people, but we always kind of see from our perspective and maybe we feel justified because somebody did something that ‘deserved that.’ But we never get to see ourselves from the other person’s perspective.”

She continued, “And I’ve realized that sometimes, in other peoples’ eyes, we are the villain in their story. And that’s who I was in Bri’s story and I truly regret that.”

Dubaich admitted she “should’ve been professional” and should’ve put her “emotions aside” when it came to her relationship with Muller, who was this season’s third stew.

“And I should’ve lifted her up and made her feel stronger and find strength in herself so I regret that,” she concluded, to which a proud Andy Cohen replied, “Good for you! That’s great.”

Dubaich and Muller’s drama initially stemmed from their love triangle with deckhand Joe Bradley (not the Southern Hospitality star). However, tensions only escalated as they continued to argue about hierarchy and the laundry room.

Things got so heated by Season 9, Episode 8 that Captain Sandy Yawn even threatened to fire both women.

“Let me give you the big picture. We’re here to do a job and we have to have respect in the workplace. If you two can’t work together, I can’t just let go [of] one. I have to let go of both because I don’t know the full story, and neither does Aesha,” Yawn told the two women, per BravoTV, before adding, “Everyone here is replaceable.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
