North West 200: Dunlop takes NW200 win double in Supersport and Superstock races

Michael Dunlop won a double victory in Supersport and Superstock chapters in the North West 200 race.

The victories were the first Northern Ireland passenger in this event since 2016, and he got his career in successes in North West to seven.

Dunloub achieved a dramatic victory in the SuperSport opening race by bombing second place in second place Richard Cooper in the Mather race in the last lap and continued to win a margin of only 0.378 seconds.

For a 36 -year -old player, this was his second victory in the northwest, although he controlled the medium weight category on the island of Man TT, where he won the 13 digital race.

Northern Ireland's contestant was his first picnic in the international road race on Ducati V2, who previously made the Machinery Yamaha campaign in this category.

Dunlop set a new record in the final circle in 118.65 miles per hour, with Davi Todd third behind Cooper, Din Harrison, Peter Heckman and Jimmy Kutard are the best six players.

The first five participated in an exciting battle all the time, with ten tenths again separating them during the four night race.

Dunlop was in the fifth place after the first lap, fourth after the second and third lap after the third lap, before displaying the land and implementing his decisive movement.

“It is good that you return to Northern Ireland, especially at the international level,” Dennl Al -Bbc Sport Ni said after the race.

“I entered myself in the right place at the right time and I thought it was time to take out my finger.

“I really enjoyed it and knew that I was always in me to ride well here.”

A man Ballymony shed light on the suffering of the subsequent implications for Superstock rehabilitation earlier on Thursday by occupying the first place on the platform.

“I hurt the shoulder a little and struggled for the brakes a little. It is not 100 % but I cannot complain. I will keep the head down.”
