Ben Christman, a university soccer attack man who moved from Kentucky to Unlv, was found dead in his apartment outside the campus in February at the age of 21, one day before his birthday.

Christmann was in Ohio for two seasons before moving to Kentucky.
He sat in the 2023 season with a knee injury and played in special teams in 2024.
He was scheduled to play with UNLV in the next 2025 season.
“The heart of our team is broken to hear the death of Ben,” Dan Moulin, UNLV coach, said in a statement of his death. “Since the day Ben on the campus a month ago, the rebels made a better program. Ben was an easy choice for our leadership committee because he got immediate respect, admiration and friendship to all his teammates.
“Our prayers come out to his family and everyone who knew him. Bin Al -Alam made a better place and will be missed.”
School head, Keith E and Witfield, said he was “incredibly sad” to hear the death of Christmann.
He said: “There is a little that can be said to reduce the pain of the loss of a member of our university family suddenly at this early age, and my heart is separated from everyone who knows and loves him.” “On behalf of UNLV, our sincere condolences with the Ben family, friends, loved ones and teammates during this very difficult time.”
Christmann was from Akron, Ohio, and played football in high school at River Secondary School. He was a four -star recruiter coming out of high school.
