John Ram “hurts me” in the main championships since joining Lev Golf, according to one of the golf icon that gave one impact on the profitable Saudi series
Paul Mcceinley, Ryder Cup champion, believes that the former world number 1 John Ram “hurts” in the majors since joining Golf Lev. It seems that he does not seem to carry a lot of hope for the Spanish in the PGA championship this week.
RAM, 30, caused a tremendous uproar in the golf community when the ship jumped to Lev at the end of 2023, although it has repeatedly pledged to stay with the PGA tour. He described that some fans have sympathized with others because of $ 300 million (225 million pounds today) verified that it is supposed to be given defects.
Ram cleaned the circle backed by Saudi Arabia and gets nearly 35 million pounds in more than the Lev season. But despite his swollen banking balance, McGinley believes that the level of lower play in LIV events, and the general relaxation of the players' efforts has led to the appearance of the Rahm edge in the disciplines.
He told the golf channel (via the pluscinemaz.comfor us), “John's performance in major companies since he went to Lev was disappointing,” he told the Golf channel (via the pluscinemaz.comfor us). “Because three years ago before he went to Lev, I would like to say that it will be an absolute power – not far from where we have Scotti [Scheffler] now.
“We did not see that from John when he returns to major companies. Yes, he is in the first ten places every week on LIV, but we really look at the major companies.”
McGinley, 58, shared his belief that many golf players in Lev most likely face challenges “they did not think” when they took this step. This unexpected element may cause some radar players to fall into the main golf tournaments.
“There is nothing easy in life,” he added. “Yes, they can say that they earned a lot of money. But they hurt on the other side in terms of coming to these main championships and not at the forefront, because they had stayed in the PGA tour.”
Before joining LIV, Rahm ended among the top 10 in 12 of the previous 22 major appearances (about 55 %). Since the switch last year, this was only run in four main championships, and a series of 18 consecutive major discounts ended.
Likewise, it was in the PGA championship last year in Valhalla, where his plan reached a sudden end. However, it will aim to perform a great improved in the Quail Hollow this week.
Despite his criticism, McGinley – which put the European team to Ryder Cup Victory in 2010, then did it again as a leader in 2014 – is not completely negative about Lev stars. He praised Brooks Koyk and Breisson Deschambo – both of whom have won specializations since their defection – for their continuous success at the highest level.
“Return with all the flying leg is not that easy.” “It is much easier to stay in one country and then the pioneer plays in the same country.
“Going to Lev, yes, there is a lot of upward trend and have a lot of money to do this, but since it is a startup and they have to travel all over the world, it gives a lot of defects when it comes to these main tournaments.
“Barrux Barrus and Breisson did not appear seriously because they went to Lev in these main championships.”
Since the leadership of PGA EXODUS, Dustin Johnson has witnessed his presence in the Great Championships diminishing. Cameron Smith, who was heading towards the stars, and got the open before his departure for 2022, struggled to form the same level of threat after his outlet.
At the end of this week, Rahm will lined up with other LIV owners like Dechambeau, Koepka, Smith, Johnson, Phil Mickelson and Joaquin Niemann. He is scheduled to start his tour of the tenth at 1 pm GMT, alongside Patrick Kanie and Matt Fitzpatrick.
