UK Parliament To Host 2025 Sankofa Summit

Exclusive: The 2025 edition of the Sankofa Heritage and Cultural Summit in Africa (HACSA) will be held in London, in Parliament in the United Kingdom, with major guests, including President John Dramani Mahama from Ghana and veteran actor Hugh Corichi.

This year's summit, the first to be held in London, will continue from 19 to 20 June. Besides President Mahama and QUARSHIE, among the other guests and speakers who were appointed to the summit Diane Abbott, actor Clark Peters, Vice President Cartier Peugeot Abila, Bill Ribeiro-Eddie, the United Kingdom in Clavam and Brexston Hill, who will open this event.

The general issue will be “honoring the past, empowering the present, and inspiring the future” with a focus on highlighting the youth of Africa. Main discussion points throughout the summit will include learning between generations, benefit from the creative economy to create job opportunities, build capabilities that support technology, and the unification strategies of Africans in the continent and in the diaspora to expand opportunities in financing, trade and employment.

In addition to the summit, a lunch will be held on June 19 to honor the legendary artist and Hacsa James Barnor, who will also participate in the Fireside conversation with Quarshie.

The Sankofa summit is the pioneering event in Hacsa. The Sankova Summit was organized in cooperation with UNESCO, Diaspora Affairs Office in the office of the Ghana President, headed by Kofi Okier-Darko, and the HACSA Executive Guidance Committee.

Hacsa is a non -profit non -profit organization in Ghana. Some of the organization's actions include preserving and promoting African heritage and culture around the world, linking investors and African origin in the diaspora with each other and the African continent via the Hacsa Sankofa network.

Among the HACSA sponsors, the actor, director and playwright in South Africa, Dr. John Kanye, British writer, director, actress, neighboring actress, American writer, musician, Alexander Smalls, a prize -winning British actor, a Nigerian actor and a Jimmy Ogegla businessman.
