Epstein, 66, was waiting for a trial for the multiple federal federal accusation that involves underage girls at the time of his death on August 10, 2019. He was previously convicted in 2008 by seeking prostitution from a minor, but avoided federal charges under a controversial deal in Florida. In 2019, his arrest sparked public anger and discovered a sprawling network of powerful individuals who have maintained relations with the financier over the years.
One of these relationships led directly to Buckingham Palace. Epstein's long friendship with Prince Andrew, Duke of York, was severely scrutinized after one of the American defendants, Virginia Giovry, claimed that she was trafficking in a royal color when she was seventeen years old.
Prince Andrew denied these allegations, but the repercussions led to his removal from public royal duties and a financial settlement with Jeffrey after she filed a lawsuit in an American civil case.

But Bongino says the shots will not leave any doubt. His comments are the most direct effort by the US law enforcement official to decline for years of speculation and conspiracy theories online surrounding the death of Epstein.
The FBI decision to publicly issue a video of a rare step in a high -level investigation, with the aim of restoring the confidence of the public and closing a separation from the suspicion that has continued since Epsin died.
No accurate date of release was announced, but Bongino confirmed that the delay stems from the artwork to improve video clarity, and not any attempt to hide the details.
“We want to make sure that it is outside, it's outside,” he said.
