Hamas said it was ready to release the hostages in an attempt to end the war in Gaza.
This step by the terrorist group is part of a response to stopping the American proposal.

Hamas said it would issue ten live hostages and 18 bodies in exchange for the release of Israel to a number of Palestinian prisoners.
Hamas said: “This proposal aims to achieve a permanent ceasefire, (the Israeli) to withdraw from the Gaza Strip and ensure the flow of aid to our people and our families.”
There was no immediate response from Israel to the statement.
But last week, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told the hostages of the hostages that they accepted the US proposals.
This comes as Gaza health officials said yesterday that 14 people were killed and 284 injuries were injured last day.
Yesterday, the United Nations warned that Gaza became “the place of hunger on the ground.”
She said that all the population of the region was at risk of starvation.
The displaced Palestinians who live in food tents have been handed over by relief agencies.
Women and children were among those who gathered in Khan Yunus carrying utensils and pans.
It is the only area on the planet where 100 percent of the population was at risk of starvation.
He added: “Gaza is the place of hunger on the ground.”
