The New York Post was honored for its great coverage of the deadly shooting of the UNITEDHEALTHARCE CEO Brian Thompson last December by the New York Press Club on Monday.
The horrific crime claimed to be carried out by Luigi Mangion, which Ivy League received international attention immediately-with the leadership of the position in breaking many stories.
The Post, founded by Alexander Hamilton in 1801, a continuously published newspaper in the United States, won crime reports in the New York City Metro region under the newspaper category.
Among the relevant employees are Joe Marino, Larry Celiona, Jacques Morffit, Riviente Fenton, Kate Shehi and Matt Troutman, in addition to many editors and photographers.
“Covering the local crime in the Post is our bread and our butter and always to read,” said Keith Paul, Editor -in -Chief. “We are honored that our distinct reports are recognized for one of the largest stories of the year.”
The posting of the post has become necessary in the early days of the main news event on mangis and chasing the accused's killer, and still has been published in the months since then.
New York Press Club is a non -profit association dedicated to journalists and media.
Dozens of outlets and other correspondents have won prizes for their work over the past year.
