Millie Bright: England defender withdraws from selection before Euro 2025

Millie Bright, England defender Millie Bright, made not available for the euro this summer, saying she was unable to “give 100 % mentally or physically.”

The 31 -year -old girl withdrew from the Nations League for this month, where the Football Association said that the midfield was taking a “long period of recovery.”

“Football has given me a lot, and my country's representation has always been the greatest honor for me. My pride tells me and I go but I think the team and fans deserve more. At the present time, I can't give 100 % mentally or physically.

“As I want to be there, it runs through the brick walls for England and fighting alongside my teammates, the decline is the right thing for my health and my future in the game and the most important of that team.”

Bright added that she felt that it was not “fair to solve” another player if they were ready “to give everything to the badge and the country.”

A number of his current and former colleagues in England provided their support for BRIGHT under its social media.

Arsenal striker Chloe Kelly wrote: “Always proud of you,” while Rachel Dali published from Aston Villa: “You cannot be more proud. With you through everything I have my girl.”

Speaking after Bright's decision to withdraw from the selection of the Nations League, Director Sarina and Yamman said: “She must take care of herself.

“We will stay in contact and I hope you will feel better.”

He crowned 88 times for England, Bright was a captain when they were beaten by Spain in the 2023 World Cup final.

It was regular in the 2022 euros squad, when the shots won the championship for the first time by beating Germany in Wembley.
