David Brooks took over when the Wales players last in March after scoring the equalizer in the 96th minute in northern Macedonia, which maintained Craig Bilami's record, which was not defeated as a main coach.
There was more congratulations to Brox when the Wales World Cup qualifiers regained against Liechtenstein and Belgium this week, but for completely different reasons.
Brooks and his wife Flora revealed on social media earlier this week that they would become fathers, with their child on November 1.
For Brooks, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2021, the news is especially happy given questions about whether this time it will come.
“I always wanted to start a family. My wife and I wanted to be children at some point,” says 27 -year -old.
“It is clear when I was diagnosed, you have these conversations and there were never any guarantees that I would be able to have children in the future. There was an unable to.
“But I was really lucky because he came naturally. After things returned to normal, of course I was really happy. There were some tears, but we are really looking forward to it.”
Brox was twenty -four years old when he was diagnosed with lymph in the second stage in October 2021.
There were “dark times”, the attacking midfielder, but after several months of chemotherapy, he announced cancer -free in May 2022.
He returned to football for the first team with Bournemouth in March 2023 and returned to Wales in that summer.
