One of the interior does not rule out Jason Kid to become the next Nix coach.
Kidd is currently responsible for Marax, which means that Nix will first need permission from Dallas just for the interview and then negotiating compensation to allow the Mobile to allow him to leave.
But Tim McMahon of ESPN referred to Kid's links with Nix, who launched Tom Thebodo on Tuesday after five years with the team, as a reason to monitor the situation.
“You have to bring a man relationship,” McMahon said in the “HOOP Collective” “Hooop Collective”.
“Listen, one of the names that were put forward there is a man who is contracting with another team, but definitely a man who has relationships not only with Galen Bronson but with many people in that organization, and this is Jason Kid. What I will say about that is that I will not reject this possibility.”
Bronson played under Kid in his last season with Maverx before leaving for a free agency for Nix.
Kid has trained MAVERICKs in the past four years and led them to the American Professional League finals last season before losing to Celkus in five games.
The multi -year contract was extended last year.
This season was more turbulent, especially after the Al -Raidi team's decision in February to trade Luka Densic with Lakers.
The injuries to Kerry Erfing and Anthony Davis, which were obtained as the latter as part of the Doncic trade, also removed the team's plans.
Mobile also transmitted ways with Casey Smith, who is now working as the Vice President of Sports Medicine at KNICKS and helped the list to stay in good health in the post -season.
McMahon said: “I will not sit here and tell you that I know or even think J-Kid wants to get out of Dallas, and this will be very far away.” “What I can say comfortably is that there was certainly that there were decisions, the main franchise decisions that were made that he was not on board, one of which included shooting on Casey Smith, which was J-Kidd very narrow since his second term as a player in Dallas, who is now running the New York Nix's health and performance group.
“I think it will be very far from hinting, or suggests or any J-Kid is looking out to get out of Dallas. I think this will not be an accurate or fair thing that can be said. But if this opportunity offers herself, I bet you will feel his ears.”
Kid had previously trained the window and the Bots and worked as an assistant with Lakers a while ago.
