The Germans abandon a beautiful, loved island of the British.
The British and Germans have always been among the largest European travel, as they both shared similar tastes in Sunshine resorts on the coast. It seems that our neighbors on the continent are now tired a little bit of classic worn out holidays – Majorca.
The Alcudia and Can Picafort Hotel Association seemed to warn that reservations on the island had decreased last year, especially between travelers from Germany, their main markets. The seizures of the bar and restaurants have decreased by 15 and 20 percent compared to last year, a major blow to the industry that is already struggling.
“We see how the German market, traditionally our market, is the one that slowed down more than others. In addition, we discover that this season, the last minute reservations have become more popular again, as tourists await special offers and promotions before making purchase decisions.”
