Catherine Harrison, 86, suffered from her fall and broke her back, which left her in severe pain during the need for treatment in Türkiye during a holiday with her family.

They were broken by great Jeddah in a hospital in Türkiye after suffering a horror accident during her vacation. Catherine Harrison, 86, was just two days on a visit to Antalya, Türkiye, with her family when she fell into the bathroom and broke her back.

Catherine left in severe pain for several days before her family ended by taking her to a private hospital. “She fell and landed on her back. My mother and her partner were there at that time and returned her to her bedroom and tried to put cold snow packages and cold sparks,” said Catherine's great granddaughter, Amia Harrison, said.

“She was studded with the bed for three days, so we had to send her to a hospital recommended by the hotel we were staying on. She was not able to speak because she was crying out of pain. But she was telling us not to worry or stress, but I know she was stressing.”

Amaya added that there are problems with Catherine's care in the first wing, but it was later transferred. “They are trying to feed her, go out and find her food, and we hope that it is fine.”

Amia, her brothers and her partner came back to Manchester, while my mother Joan remained with Catherine, who is still in the hospital. Travel insurance has been taken out to Catherine, but not Joan.

The family contacted insurance companies, but they claim that they were not given a lot of “help or advice”. The family, from the side of Moss, Manchester, is trying to collect 56,000 pounds to bring Catherine home.

“They say that it will cost us 56,000 pounds to get her home because she cannot fly on a normal commercial trip,” said Amaya Emay News.

“She must be on a stretcher because she should lie down. She also needs a doctor because Nana has a lot of other health care conditions, and it is very risking to return home.

“My mom is hitting herself because she cannot be at home and she cannot get Nana home. She is one of those difficult difficult situations that we are trying to go through. We have a very big family and Nana in the middle. She was the youngest children of five children and she is the only one remaining.

“Many of us feel panic here in Manchester, trying to scrape the pennies together to get her home. It was difficult, especially for my young siblings, they really don't understand the severity of the situation yet. We are really trying to collect it together.”
