Italian Matteo Manassero and Ryan Fox from New Zealand were linked to the leadership after the third round of a closely disputed Canadian Championship.

Manassero and Fox connected 64 rounds, each including seven birds and ghosts as they moved to 14 below.

“It was a really good tour,” said Manassero, whose ghost came in the seventeenth hole before he recovered a stroke with a bird.

“I missed the short in 17, and I missed more short.
