My mother has repeatedly stabbed to death by her husband, “violent, jealousy and control”, after she followed her to a shelter where she was to escape from him, the prosecutors told the jury. Habib Masoum, 26, launched a “fierce” attack on Collasoma more, 27, after facing her in the center of Bradford, pushing her seven -month -old child in the stroller.

I heard the jurors on November 23, Masum became jealous of a “completely harmless” message that she received from a male colleague, caught her face, slapped her and pulled her hair. “In what you might think was a frightening prediction of what he was doing in April the following year,” Wood said, “I will kill you, and the police will take me.”
The next day after returning home from work, he went to their bedroom carrying a knife and said: “Tell me what your relationship with him, or I will kill you,” heard the jury. Mr. Wood said that Massum put the knife in the throat of the lady more and “was so afraid that he would cut her throat, and I believed that the only way to prevent him is to keep the child in her lap.”
A family member, who was interested in the safety of the lady, heard more to the police, and Masum was arrested that night. In his interview at Ashton police station, he denied the use of any violence towards his wife and “just asked who is the man.” The officers also told that he had no mental health conditions.
The court listened to the accusation of Masom of attack crimes by beating and one crime of the threat of killing. I heard the jurors that the lady Akkar told a social worker from the Oldham Council that she “believed that her husband would kill her one day,” and asked her whether her son could stay with her sister and her brother “when this day comes.” It was transferred to the residence in Bradford in January 2024.
Mr. Wood said in March, Mrs. Akkha, her social worker, said that Massum called her on Snapchat, and threatened that if she does not return to him by April 1, she will kill her brothers. The court heard that the shelter contacted the police, and the next day, Massum sent the lady the most video clip of Snapchat to the Bradford railway station to exchange Bradford with a message saying that he “came to her city.”
She later sent it a picture of the shelter with a message saying: “I know that you live in this place. I knew from the first day I moved here. If I have any desire to kill you, I may have from the first day. You don't know what I lost but one day you will understand it. You will not love you as I do.”
