Officials said the new speed cameras near a major town have achieved 21,000 dollars of fines of fast tickets.
Among the tickets created, it is said that about 20 % of the repeated perpetrators-when fines were equally captured between residents and drivers outside the city.

Speaking to CT Insider, local local Jim Bernon said: “This means that people's concerns have been validated – speed is a huge and huge problem.”

The approval of the installation of speed cameras was issued on three roads in the city in December, with the cities required under the state law to submit plans to agree before they can start using red or speed cameras to impose traffic laws.
These specific cameras, found in WashingtonConnecticut, on the Litchfield Old Road, Road 109 and Baldwin Hill Road, is placed to protect an estimated 3600 people across five rural villages.
Among the three approved roads, the city has installed the cameras on the Litchfield Old Old and ROUTE 109 about six weeks ago, while a camera will be installed on the Baldwin Hill road inside the next A few weeks.
These cameras are designed to discover and collect evidence of traffic violations – by recording pictures of the data of the license, date, time and location panel.
After that, there is a 30 -day grace period once the new camera is installed – during which written warnings are issued for violations instead of citing.
Once the permitting period increases, categories are issued – with drivers to get rid of $ 50 for the first violation and $ 75 for each subsequent one.

Time to come
Washington has struggled with drivers for several years, but the problems have recently escalated.
“It has become greatly worse after the epidemic, and we have been overwhelmed by calls,” Bernon said.
This has controlled the maximum speed on the three roads that became the city's “individual goal” to apply for automated cameras.
Reactions were mixed on the cameras – where some of the local authority's efforts were praised to slow down car drivers and infantry protection.
Others, though, are concerned that the cameras invade their privacy.
“In our town, a rural town, you have a lot of pedestrians, a lot of children, and they use our ways of exercise, and it was a source of safety anxiety,” Bernon said.
This is only the beginning, as the city plans to apply to the state to add three other ways to its traffic camera plan.
The additional three methods have not yet been identified – with a required data tracker to monitor the roads that will benefit more than the cameras.
Brenton added that he had spoken with other municipal leaders, including in Sherman and neighboring purification, about the process of applying for automatic traffic cameras.
He said: “It is worth it if we make people out of people.”
“We hope this is an effective deterrent and it is really easy to make people slow down.”
How to fight the speed ticket

According to legally reviewed publication, there are five effective strategies to combat the speed ticket if they are incorrectly released.
- If it is withdrawn and issued a ticket, drivers can argue or conflict with the personal opinion of the driver. When issuing a quick ticket, an officer must write their opinion and reach a “objective” conclusion. If the ticket is written based on this ruling, it is possible to compete.
