But Berrada knows where the main external focus will be, especially on coach Robin Amorim, who had such a strong introduction to United after arriving from Sporting in November.
Berrada joined United after working in the position of senior football operations employees at Group City Football Group. He can see the similarities between Amorim and Pep Guardiola, whom he knew during his time in Manchester City and who struggled, according to his criteria, in his first campaign before he finished fourth.
“It was difficult in the first year of Labib,” Perrada said.
“He did not win anything and there was doubt whether he could implement his vision of football in the Premier League. People said he was arrogant and will not change his style of playing. But he adhered to his principles.”
In response to a question about whether he had seen the similarities with Amorim, Perrada said: “Very much.”
Berrada feels that the difficulties faced by Amorim since his arrival will benefit the club next season and say there is a real reason for optimism.
“It will not be easy,” he said. “There will be some difficult moments.
“Nothing will be resolved through one summer window, but we are on the right path.
“We have put the worst part of this transformation phase behind us and now we will start building. I am very confident that we will return to the top.”
