Hillal ended the Saudi Professional League season after eight points behind the new Champions Champions, and Portuguese coach Khorkhi Jesus dismissed last month after his team came out of the semi -finals of the Asian Champions League elite.
Inzagi was appointed a few days after his former club Inter Milan lost the Champions League final against Paris Saint -Germain.
“It might seem to be something that came quickly, but it is the result of hard work,” said Calzada.
“He was playing a huge match and asked [us] To keep things aside even after the final, it was decided, but it was not signed before the semi -finals, just because he asked us to wait, which is definitely just enough.
“In this season, we came second, and this is less than equality with what is expected of us.
“And simply what we expect from the new coach is that it helps us win again and re -establish our championship.”
Hillal begins his campaign in the World Cup against Real Madrid on Wednesday in the Final of the 2022 Championship.
Real Madrid won 5-3 in Morocco, where each of Venice and Federico Valverde scored twice and Karim Benzema – now from the Saudi club that has come to the goal as well. Hillal responded through Musa Mariga and two from Luciano Veto.
“It is a great opportunity for us to show our products, [and] Calzadeh said: “To test our level as well, because we do not have much opportunities,” said Calzada.
“We are not here to exchange shirts with Real Madrid players, or just for exposure.
“We have a very talented group, with the addition of a new world famous coach with us, yet we go to the championship with the utmost ambition.”
