Jaffay is expected to overcome Rodriguez Junior, the world's former world champion with 39 wins, six losses and one withdrawal.

His previous competition has been changed from the victory of points to the absence of a tour. BBC Sport contacted the Boxing Paradise in Texas for clarity, while Jaffay says he is also not sure of the reasons.

“You get these strange stories in boxing,” says Yavai. “But it is a difficult and proven fighter and all I can do is focus on what I do. I'm sure this will be enough at night.”

Beyond Rodriguez, confrontation with Terraji is waiting. Perhaps there is a bolder step – ascending to Jesse Bam Rodriguez's challenge, American world champion in weight that stopped Edwards in 2023.

“Pam is a great fighter and I am not deceived,” Yavai says.

“But I was on the side of the ring when you stopped sunny and saw enough to find out how I can hit him.”

Currently, the goal is still clear.

“First, I must win on Saturday,” says Yavai. Then I can go foot and win a world title.

“When I retire from boxing, I want to sit down and say I am an Olympic champion and world champion. This is the legacy that he chased.”
