Seattle – The Liberty star Berina Stewart always has mixed feelings on her trips to Seattle.

This time – the fourth with freedom – does not differ.

“It is a good feeling, always cute when people stop me and appreciate what I have been able to do here so far,” Stewart told the “Post on Saturday” after training.

There are many happy memories here.

Stewart arrived in the city of Emerald as a 21 -year -old and the first choice in the 2016 WNBA draft. Immediately was one of the best players in the team.

Stewart won the emerging title of the year that season, and the MVP league only two years later and the storm helped win the Watten title in WNBA in three years.

But Stewart is also sad for people who cannot see him every day since it has fallen with freedom before the 2023 season.

“This is the place where I grew up,” she said. “I have grown to my career and I always have a special place in my heart, for sure.”

However, Stewart has never got a full welcome treatment in any of the three Liberty flights in the past two years.

The storm never put a video of her achievements to broadcast on Gomboptron. They did not take enough time to get to know them in any of its revenues.

Stewart does not think much about it – except when he was urged by a reporter.

“Listen, that's what it is,” she said. “I think that when I returned here for the first time, it was certain for me for sure and it was not appreciated in front of these fans, but this is not my decision. I still be the best I have and go with my head high and everything, and if this is what the organization wanted to do, then this is.”

Storm did not specify as a key player in 2023, allowing her to become a free, unrestricted agent. Instead, Seattle Giorl Lloyd chose, at her request, has been circulated in the past.

Stewart fell with freedom with a promise to bring a championship to New York. I greeted this era last season.

She returned to Seattle as a WNBA champion, to verify Stewart's difficult decision to leave in the first place.

Stewart said: “It is good to return,” as a ruler hero, and he knew that it is worth it. ”

Freedom announced that John Rowell Jones will be marginalized for nearly four to six weeks with the right ankle sprain.

Jones exacerbated the affected right ankle in the second quarter of a loss on Thursday.

Jones was seen leaving the cabinet room in the walking shoe and did not take the trip to Seattle with the team.
