The companies will be avoided by billions in green fees, as Sir Kerr Starmer bends to warn the scratch costs of the British industry.
The Prime Minister will reveal today a ten -year industrial strategy that reduces electricity bills to more than 7,000 intense companies.

Manufacturers will be exempt in sectors such as steel, chemicals and cars from green taxes that have helped raise energy prices in the United Kingdom to some of the highest in Europe.
