Former England midfielder Adam Lallana retired from playing at the age of 37.
Lallana, who won 34 capsules in his country, returned to Southampton last season after he got his name in his first talisman there.
He joined Liverpool from the saints for 25 million pounds in 2014 and continued to win the Premier League and Champions League.

Lallana came through the Southampton Academy before he appeared for the first time in the first team when he was 18 years old in 2006.
He continued to offer more than 250 times for the saints and was part of the team that won the successive promotions from the first league to the Premier League.
Lallana was the captain when he left for Anfield during the summer when he also played for England in the 2014 World Cup.
After winning the Champions League with Liverpool in 2019 and the league title in the next campaign, Lallana joined Brighton before returning to St. Mary in 2024.
He only achieved five beginnings as the saints fell to the championship.
“I am proud of the playing profession that I have and I have no remorse for any of them,” he added.
“I embrace all the high levels and all its lowest levels because it formed for me.
“For everyone who made the very special trip, employees in every club and organizer, managers and coaches, my teammates, and of course supporters – thank you.
“But the most important of all, for my team … my family. My wife Emily, our amazing children, my mother, my father and my sister, thank you for carrying it with me and being in my corner through all of this.
“I am excited about anything that the future brings.”
