British tennis player Heather Watson says she has received a “daily” social media during her career and had the first threat to 18 years old.
Watson was talking after her citizen Katie BBC Sport told the inappropriate and harmful comments scale she received online, including death threats.
Sir Andy Murray said that he is trying to remove his children from social media and support invitations for more measures to prevent the abuse of sports stars.
“He was the first threat to kill in 18 years,” Watson told the BBC Sport. “I told my friend [American tennis player] Slon Stevens at the time.

Watson is preparing for Wimbledon and will face Clara Tawson, classified as the Danish in the first round of an individual, after being delivered.
