‘We don’t know who’s playing’ – Sophie Cunningham blames ‘distractions’ and Caitlin Clark injury for Fever’s WNBA woes

Indiana fever is struggled for victories in the absence of Caitlin Clark, and teammates are trying to understand this.

Clark is now disrupted with her second injury for this season, and clearly affects the team.

“I think so far this season, we have dealt with many deviations,” Kningham said.

“Some injuries … do not know who is playing.”

While the team is struggling with injuries, Caningham said it could be good in the long run until fever deals with adversity early this season.

“But I think this is really good for us. Let's go to adversity early, let's learn from it,” she said.

“The good news is that we will not reach its peak early, so I mean this is positive. It is not an excuse.

“Everyone plays with a dispute, everyone has this type of harsh timeline.

“For us, it is another opportunity tomorrow, and we have to benefit from it.

“We are surrounded by everyone's schedule. No one loves us, right? So everyone in our dressing room, this is the only type of people we can tend to.

“We have to remain disciplined, and we have to remain concentrated, and we need to settle, and we have to tend to each other.

“I think we have been somewhat grew up on it.”

Fever is 7-8 in the season after Los Angeles Sparks lost despite leading to the fourth quarter.

Indiana outperformed 35-17 at the fourth before she suffers from a loss.

Caningham joined the fever this season through a trade, and has not yet been affected by its new team.

The changes that must be made inside the cabinet room have called for the team's reinforcement.

The team will have to deal with Clark's loss while making these changes.

Fever is 2-4 this season without Clark on the field.
