On Friday, the Louisiana authorities seized one of the ten men who fled from New Orleans Prison six weeks ago and the police say videos on social media while they are still fugitive.
Ann Kirkpatrick, New Orleans Police Director, said that Antoine Massi, 33, was detained at a residence in New Orleans, about 2 miles from prison.
“He already left the house safely,” said Kirkpatrick. “He surrendered safely to the law enforcement that surrounded the house.”
The Arlianz diocese, Sherif Susan Hottson, said that she had received advice on Friday morning and immediately informed other law enforcement powers, which arrested Massi by mid after.
Robert Hodges, Louisiana State Police Director, said that the authorities are still investigating how Massi was able to stay in the housing as he was restored.
“It is completely clear over the past six weeks to remain a runaway at the time, he had help,” Hodges said.
The authorities had recently discussed social media publications by a man who knew himself as a diamond, and earlier this month, the New Orleans' house raided, as they believed that the videos were produced, but they did not find it.
“The great work by all our law enforcement partners who were working hard for this result,” said Liz Morel, the Louisiana Prosecutor after the seizure of Massi on Friday. “Another one to go!”
The authorities are still searching for the convicted killer Derek Grops.
The police previously acquired the other eight fugitives after May 6, one of the largest in the history of the United States.
The authorities said that the men grabbed the door of a defective cell inside the New Orleans prison, and pressed through a hole behind a toilet, and expanded the scope of a thorny fence and fled to the dark.
The absence of men was not discovered until the number of morning head, hours after their withdrawal for freedom. The authorities found a message drawn about the hole that men used to escape: an arrow indicates the gap and words “for easy lol”.
Officials have pointed to several security lapses in prison, but the authorities are still determined that men have also assisted.
A prison worker was arrested in the prison claiming that it helped men escape by turning off the water to the toilet where the opening was cut.
His lawyer says he intentionally denied their help.
The authorities in the nearby diocese of St. Tamani said that Massi faced rape, kidnapping and domestic violence that involves suffocation and violation of a preventive matter.
At the Arlians diocese, he faced charges of stealing cars and local battery.
Morel said that Massi would face additional charges for his escape.
The court records show that the police, who have been identified as an external relationship, were arrested and charged with justice as director of strict escape, as the court records appear. The authorities said that the woman was aware of the plans of escaping from Massi in advance, and they were delivered with him after that and the authorities were misled.
The authorities said that a $ 50,000 bonus remains on tips that lead to the restoration of Grows.
