Toporia, 28, won the first 16 battles of his career, and was 2024 great, as he left Alexander Volkanski to win the feather weight title last February.

Victory means that Toporia, who holds the nationality of Georgia, became the first champion in Spain in UFC, before the Spanish president gave him by President Pedro Sanchez.

Topuria came out with another former hero in Max Holloway in October, before the belt was evacuated in April to move to light weight.

Despite his success in the weight of the feather, Toporia says that the decision to climb was dependent on the oath that had the oath on its physical health.

“I really belong to this category of weight. I had to kill myself almost to divide 145 pounds (10 pounds),” Toporia said.

“I feel very comfortable. I feel more powerful in dividing this weight.

“This is in fact the first time that I managed to enjoy the entire process, such as training – even cutting weight – because it is much easier.

“From one to 10, in the weight of the feather when I was fighting at this point I was five years old. Now I feel nine.”
