Todd Chrisley opened at his first night behind bars, saying he cried himself to sleep as soon as the reality sank.
In the new ABC News Studios, “The Chrisleys: Life after Lockup”, the reality star detailed his experience at FPC Pensacola before he finally spared President Donald Trump.
“You would like, take behind bars with you. How was that first night?” Juju Chang “Chrisley Know Best” asked.
“I was angry at God,” Todd, 57, answered. And when I went to bed that night and the lights came out, I cried to sleep and said, “God, why do you allow it? “
“You do not realize the things that you took as a Muslim matter so that you do not own them,” continued. “So your freedom, your ability to go to the church, and your ability to go out to eat, as you know, to stay in your bed all day, these things are taken from you, so when you return to it, it is a blessing.”
Jolie, for her part, was asked about the things she missed more than others while spending her punishment.
“My children and my husband, as you know, missed birthdays, holidays, holidays and things that I cannot return to,” said Jolie, 52.
She added, “Now I just have to focus on what awaits us.”
Todd last month was released from FPC Pensacola in Florida after serving a little more than two years of his 12 -year sentence for tax evasion and fraud.
For her part, his wife Jolie was coming out of FMC Lexington in Kentucky, where she was serving a seven -year prison sentence.
She first informed the reality stars to prison in 2023 after being convicted of fraud and tax evasion.
Federal public prosecutors found them guilty of calming the documents to get more than $ 30 million in loans, and then throwing them bankruptcy.
“You do not realize how much your freedom means for you so that you don't own it,” said Todd during the interview.
“If it does not change you, you are not human.”
