LEBRON James and NFL fans couldn’t take the constant amount of times Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles slipped during Friday’s Brazil game.

The Packers and Eagles players couldn’t find their footing on the Corinthians Arena field in the regular season opening contest in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

On the very first offensive play for the Eagles, star running back Saquon Barkley slipped on his first carry, resulting in a loss of five yards.

There were other instances of players slipping during drives, including Packers wide receiver Dontayvion Wicks falling on a potential long gain and wideout Christian Watson on a throw to him in the end zone.

The Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron wasn’t afraid to share his reaction to the situation on social media.

“Man, this field sucks!!! GB vs PHI,” the 39-year-old wrote on X along with a shaking head emoji.

The four-time MVP James wasn’t the only one to reveal their disgust on the playing field conditions in Brazil.

“The field conditions are seriously a disgrace. Dangerous. Really terrible job by the NFL,” one NFL fan wrote.

“The NFL should be embarrassed to have agreed to play football in Brazil when these are the field conditions,” another commented.

LeBron wasn’t the only NBA star to chime in on the topic.

New York Knicks’ Josh Hart revealed his take on the NFL’s handling of the field.

“Yea NFL don’t care with this field,” he said.

After Wicks slipped and dropped a pass in the second quarter, Peacock TV commentator Noah Eagle gave his analysis on the slipping issues.

“Whichever team can literally, not metaphorically, find its footing first is going to find the advantage in this game,” the 27-year-old son of broadcaster icon Ian Eagle said.

After the first half, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur spoke about what his team has to do when it comes to not slipping.

“Do whatever you gotta do, change cleats, but it has been a problem for sure,” he said.

The game still saw plenty of action in the first half.

The Eagles and Packers combined for 36 points in the first 30 minutes.

Barkley scored two touchdowns, and Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed also had two.

Friday’s game is the first-ever NFL regular-season game played in South America.

And the contest marks the first time in 54 years the league has scheduled a Friday game in Week 1.
