MORE smartphones have started receiving an important Android update from Samsung.
The tech firm is rolling out some crucial security repairs this month.
Samsung regularly pushes out new software to address any recently discovered flaws or stability issues.
So don’t expect any fancy features to arrive with this latest update.
Instead, it addresses 50 security issues – including one critical vulnerability, according to SamMobile.
That bug could reportedly allow a hacker to bypass some security features.
The M55 budget smartphone was first to receive the update.
But now six others are starting to get it, these are:
- Galaxy Z Fold 3
- Galaxy Z Fold 4
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23+
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
Software updates are usually rolled out in stages rather than all at once.

So only handset holders in the US will receive it for now before it becomes available in other countries.
Owners of other Samsung models should look out for the update coming their way soon.
You can always manually check for updates at anytime too.
Simply go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
