Suspension for Paul and Tyson
Mike Tyson and Jake Paul are both facing suspension now that their huge battle on Netflix has ended.
Paul won his match on points in an uninspiring contest in Texas.
The fight was professional and will go down in both men's records.
However, as a result, the pair can now be suspended.
This is because the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation will order them to rest.
Tyson and Paul will have to rest for at least seven days.
The rules mean that fighters will also be required to stay out of the ring for three days per round of fighting.
This means they are scheduled to be suspended for 24 days.
The regulations state: “The medical disqualification of a contestant is for his or her personal safety and may be carried out on the recommendation of the examining physician or the TDLR.” [Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation].
“A competitor who does not agree to a medical disqualification, medical suspension, rest period established at the discretion of a ringside physician, or disqualification or suspension established by the department may request a hearing to show proof of fitness.”

Well, this makes for pretty bleak reading.
Mike Tyson landed a total of 18 punches during his 16-minute confrontation with Jake Paul tonight.
Paul landed 78.

After the fight, Tyson floated the idea of fighting Jake's brother Logan next.
“I don't know, it depends on the situation. I don't think so, maybe his brother.” [Logan]”.
