A family with three generations saved by blood transfusions thanks generous donors.
Baby Isabella McKay needed blood after she was born in January.
Mum Lauren Webster, 35, fell ill when she was 15 with sepsis, and grandmother Donna Webster needed blood when Lauren was born.
Donna, 61, from Blair Gowrie, Perthshire, encouraged others to donate blood, saying: “We would like to remind donors that your gift keeps on giving for many years, or in our case, for many generations.
She added: “Isabella was born in January 2024 and received emergency blood immediately after her birth.
“I received the blood after Lauren was born. Lauren needed the blood when she was 15 due to sepsis.
“She is now a mother to her baby girl, Isabella.
“This means we have three happy and healthy generations in our family, all thanks to blood donors.
“Looking forward to Isabella's first Christmas this year is especially poignant.”
“We can't thank you all enough. We would encourage everyone to consider donating blood, platelets or plasma this Christmas.”
