Kate Middleton is spreading Christmas cheer to families who need it most.
The Princess of Wales has invited survivors and relatives of the victims of a stabbing attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport, England, to an upcoming carol service.
A royal source told The Sun Friday: “The Royal Family has provided tremendous support to the families.” “king [Charles III] She met the survivors, and Kate then took time to meet them privately last month with Prince William.
The insider said Middleton, 42, had “personally ensured” that everyone affected by the tragic event would be invited to “Together at Christmas,” which would “mean more to her than ever.”
The source added of the event, which took place on December 6 at Westminster Abbey: “It promises to be an amazing and life-affirming night, and a lot of organization has been involved to get it all together.”
Families and survivors will be treated for three days in London.
Transport and accommodation costs are being covered by Southport Stronger Together, a charity established to benefit those affected by the tragedy.
The source told The Sun: “The families have met the King, met Taylor Swift, and now this amazing party – but it's all unbearably tainted by the trauma they're still dealing with.”
“It was a difficult time for them, and none of the children or adults who were in that room will ever be the same again.”
Three young girls were killed and 10 other people were injured in the attack on July 29 during Taylor Swift's yoga and dance workshop in Southport, about four hours away from London.
Axel Rudakopana, 18, was arrested and charged with three counts of murder and 10 counts of attempted murder. His motives remain unknown.
“The horror of yesterday's attack in Southport continually overwhelms me and I am in complete shock,” Swift, 34, wrote on her Instagram page a day after the horror unfolded.
“The loss of life and innocence, and the horrific trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families and the first responders,” she continued. “These were just little kids in dance class.”
The “Cruel Summer” singer met with families and survivors of the attack during her London Eras Tour concert in August. It also raised more than $25,000 for them.
Charles, 76, met with Southport survivors and also condemned the attack, writing in a statement at the time that he was “deeply shocked to hear of this absolutely horrific incident.”
