NBA fans are certain that Jaylen Brown is facing a huge fine coming his way.
The Boston Celtics got a big win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night and Jaylen Brown made sure his opponents knew he was on fire.
Brown had a huge game on Wednesday, scoring 28 points with nine assists and six rebounds.
His performance helped the Celtics survive a barrage from the Pistons in a 130-120 point win.
The Pistons shot an astonishing 51.3 percent from three and 51.2 percent from the field.
However, the Celtics played a more physical style, setting the tone in the first quarter.
Brown dove into Pistons power forward Isaiah Stewart and stared him down while hanging off the rim.
After he fell off the edge, Brown continued to look at Stewart and gestured at him as if he was slitting his throat.
Fans were quick to notice the gesture and flocked to social media to share their predictions about the punishments.
“This is going to be a fine from the league,” one fan said.
“$50,000 fine,” another fan said.
A third fan said: “How long is the suspension?”
“My brother is about to get a 100k fine,” a fourth fan said.
A fifth fan said: “100,000 fine when he wakes up.”
After winning the NBA Finals last season, the Celtics are the No. 1 team in the league once again.
They have an 18-4 record on the season, losing only to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, Atlanta Hawks, and Indiana Pacers.
Despite having the highest record in the NBA, the Celtics do not advance to the knockout stages of the NBA Cup.
