Firefighter Ed again claimed that the Jets were trying to hide his presence at MetLife Stadium.
After the Jets' 19-9 loss to the Rams, the franchise's famous fan claimed in a social media post that he was not shown on the video board alongside other famous Jets fans cheering.
“I'm at the game, but this is the second home game in a row and I wasn't on the jumbotron to sing with Scott.” [Mullery] & Jetman,” the Instagram story was captioned with a collage of images of Fireman Ed in the game.
This was the second time this season that the Jets fan, whose real name is Ed Anzalone, took to social media to claim that he wasn't getting the same amount of screen time as he used to while at Jets games.
Anzalone became known for leading the JETS chant during Jets home games.
In a second post on his story, Anzalone shared a photo of two more prominent Jets fans appearing on the video board while adding bulging eyes emojis and followed it up with another message.
“I'm here and supporting you no matter what! God bless, Go Jets,” read another Instagram Story caption.
Anzalone first aired his complaints about screen time in October when he made a video about it and shared it on his Instagram account.
He claimed in the video that the team was “phasing us out” when discussing the situation.
Jets fans appeared to disavow Fireman Ed's claims in October when Post readers took to the comments section to respond to the news.
“Definition of entitlement? Boo hoo, I'm not on the big screen in the stadium!” one person wrote.
“Can we trade him to a West Coast team?” Another added.
The Jets have one final home game of the season when they face the Dolphins in Week 18.
