Actor Art Evans, who appeared in the hit film Die Hard 2, has died.
Evans' agent revealed his death on Saturday after battling diabetes for many years.
He was 82 years old at the time of his death, after a career that spanned decades.
Evans, from Berkeley, California, appeared in the 1984 film A Soldier's Story before starring in Die Hard 2, where he played Barnes, an air traffic control operator.
During his career, the actor also landed roles in shows like Walker, Texas Ranger, and The X-Files.
His wife, Babe, told USA Today that her husband will miss him greatly.

“Art was not only a wonderful actor, but he was a devoted husband, friend and a source of light to all who knew him,” she said.
“His laughter, passion and love of life will be greatly missed.
“While our hearts are heavy, we celebrate the legacy of joy and inspiration he left behind.”
Evans' television and film career spanned decades, with roles in 1970s films such as Sisters and Amazing Grace.
He appeared in an episode of M*A*S*H, playing Dolan in 1979, and on the 1980s show Enos.
Evans appeared three times in Hill Street Blues between 1981 and 1984, and played a prisoner in Maximum Security.
He was also known for his appearance in the American television series 9 to 5, which aired between 1986 and 1988.
Evans starred alongside the likes of Rachel Dennison – Dolly Parton's younger sister – and legendary actress Rita Moreno.
His other appearances include City of Angels, The X-Files, and Everybody Hates Chris.
Evans' most recent television appearances have included shows such as Beauty and the Baller and A House Divided, according to his IMDB.
His most recent role came as a voiceover actor on the Disney+ show The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder.
Tributes have been paid to the actor in light of his death.
“I am so honored to be able to work with Art Evans on a play I helped write,” said playwright and screenwriter Ladarrion Williams.
“He was real and didn't play when it came to the art of theatre. Be calm, Playa.”
BAFTA director Steve Hughes praised Evans for his roles in Die Hard 2, Fright Night and A Soldier's Story.
He is survived by his wife and their son.
