Two lorry drivers have died following a crash on the A15 in Lincolnshire.

Police said the two men, both aged 51, were driving a truck when they collided near the Sneterby intersection, north of Kenby Corner, on Tuesday morning.

A Lincolnshire Police statement added that one of the two men was from the Barnsley area in South Yorkshire and the other was from Cleethorpes in north-east Lincolnshire.

The men have not been named.

The force said the collision was reported at 9.33am on Tuesday.

The statement said: “Officers arrived following the accident that occurred near the Sneterby intersection between a Volvo truck and a Scania truck.”

He added: “Unfortunately, the drivers of the two trucks were pronounced dead at the scene.”

The road remained closed Tuesday afternoon.

The force urged anyone with relevant information or dashcam footage to contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 quoting incident number 82 of 24 December or email Pc Alastair Key on [email protected] quoting ibid. .
