‘The Night Agent’ Trailer Reveals Season 2 Threat; Plus More Photos

New Night Action agent Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso) gets a lot of action in the trailer for Season 2 of the hit Netflix drama series night agent, Which also released new photos. He runs, jumps into a river, shoots gunfire and engages in hand-to-hand combat in the action-packed trailer that features two more familiar faces, cybersecurity expert Rose Larkin (Lucien Buchanan), Peter's handler from Season 1 who returns. Alongside him, as well as Carrie Matchett as President Michelle Travers, whose life the duo saved last season.

The trailer introduces Season 2's new heroes and villains, most notably Peter's new night boss Katherine Weaver, played by Amanda Warren. It also shows the locations of Season 2, New York, where most of Season 2 was filmed, and Thailand, and introduces the big threat in the new installment.

“We have a spy selling leaked American intelligence to the highest bidder, and last night someone stole enough weapons to take down Manhattan,” Peter says in the trailer, which declares that “the fate of a nation depends on one man.”

This is supported by a video clip in which a determined Peter says to Katherine as she points a gun at him: “I'm doing this to myself. Shoot me or get out of my way.”

In addition to Warren, Season 2 includes new cast members Berto Colon, Luis Herthum, Ariane Mandi, Brittany Snow, and Teddy Sears.
