Sandler's main character will be on the Senior Tour these days, but we don't get many plot details for the movie. But there are a few nods and some visual nostalgia, including Gilmore's signature Boston Bruins jersey, waffle pedals, and teasing fans by riding his driver like a horse. Oh, and… Shooter McGavin appears in the short clip, which intersperses with a snippet of Pilot's 1975 earworm classic “Magic.”
Christopher MacDonald returns as Gilmore's nemesis MacGuffin, Julie Bowen returns as love interest Virginia, Ben Stiller is back on board, and Dennis Dugan reprises his role as tour pro Doug Thompson. New to the franchise are the likes of Ben Stiller, Bad Bunny, Margaret Qualley, Travis Kelce, Nick Swardson, Benny Safdie, Scott Mescudi, professional wrestler Jacob Friedman and others.
