APPLE fans have revealed two secret Siri tricks that make tough tasks on the iPhone much easier.
There are two types of iPhone Jobs It's hard to do naturally, but Siri can handle it in an instant.
It was revealed in a Reddit thread on the main iPhone forum.
The first is to delete all your alarms.
Your alarms can accumulate over time, and there's no easy way to clear them all right away.
But you can just ask Siri to delete all your arms and they will disappear with one command.
The second is to use Siri to turn off Wi-Fi.
As The Sun previously revealed, turning off Wi-Fi in your Control Center doesn't actually turn it off. It's the same story for Bluetooth.
They will remain available for some time Features Unless you go into the Settings app and turn it off completely.
Apple lists the following as features that will keep Bluetooth and Wi-Fi running in the background:
- Airdrop
- Broadcast
- Apple Pencil
- Apple watch
- Continuity features, such as Handoff and Instant Hotspot
- Instant point of contact
- Location services
- Unlock with Apple Watch
But you can ask Siri to turn it off and the assistant will turn it off correctly.
Of course, keep in mind that the above features will stop working if you turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth completely — at least until you turn them back on.
Siri is smarter
Siri is also being upgraded to be smarter.
It's part of Apple's ongoing Intelligence rollout announced in June.
This month's iOS 18.2 update added a New look For Siri, which sees the assistant glow around the edges of your screen.
Siri can also answer more complex questions, as well as send your queries to ChatGPT for further assistance.
Apple says there are more Siri upgrades coming soon.
The iPhone maker explained that “additional Apple Intelligence capabilities will be available in the coming months.”
“Siri will be more capable, with the ability to draw on a user's personal context to deliver intelligence tailored to them.
